If you are a song-writer and anyone invites you to the Premises Studios course then GO!!!
I was debating because of the course and taking time of work but I will never regret signing up for it.
I have over-come my writer's block and gained a new found creative approach to my work, gained more experience, met talented musicians and made friends.
One of the best moments was writing a song from scratch and having it performed by a live band The Daintee's on the last day.
Getting back into routine after the course was difficult at first but now I have more confidence and ended up releasing a new single yesterday largely due to the creative flow of writing I did in those 4 days.
Time to sign off for now so happy weekend everyone.
Last Friday I went into the studio and finished new track 'Sea Green.' This will be the last track on the forthcoming EP.
Can't wait for you all to hear it. :-)
I can't believe I finally finished my first project. Travelled Tales is my debut EP and it's been a long but fascinating journey so far.
From writing poems and articles to set music to, to physically visiting places and observing human nature to gain inspiration; I haven't regretted a moment.
Creating an album was something I wanted to do many years ago but to be honest, I am glad it happened now because now I feel it all came together through a much more creative point in my life and the songs are hereby more creative due to having gained more life experience now than I would have had at a younger age...(I am 21 if anyone asks! ;-) - I do have a sense of humour you see...
Thank you for your support - not long now til the EP will be released... I shall keep you posted.
